Howdy “Fluffers”,
here is a work in progress of Docteur Grenfell which I have to make for a movie project.
For the moment the hair is sculpted but I might possibly take the Hair module road, since it needs to be stylised, but somewhat realistic as well.
It will all depend on the output of the Hair tests once I’ve done them, so stay tuned for updates.
Anyway, enough blabbering, here is the current progress.
P.S: Suggestions, criticizms are more than welcome, but the face is set, agreed upon by the client.

ok, great work, i think with a color map we will beter see what is like. i’m very impressive with the details of mustache. How old is this man? 45 years old?

Do you start with a new model or a base mesh ?
I made the head from scratch modeling poly by poly and I used Otto as a reference for the body, which I heavily modified to optimize it a bit, getting rid of any stray triangles, and so that it would loop nicely with the head and the rest.
I then imported this mesh inside Zbrush, I sculpted and I exported the modified base version from Zbrush back to C4D.
