Here are two small videos showing the work in progress of the character animations I did for Kingsford.
It might be interesting for anyone starting out animation, as it shows how timing is set first using step interpolation on all keyframes, to avoid laying down too many keyframes when creating a draft.
It gives a good sense of timing, composition and allows to see the various poses the characters will go through. It is a critical phase to go through, since this step allows for client input and easy modifications if necessary.
First, the draft animation (note that the ball is animated smoothly, otherwise it would be hard to visualize):
